Kristina Baran

Kristina Baran (* 1967 in Berlin ) is a German opera singer ( soprano ).

Life

Kristina Baran attended the music schools in Pankow and Prenzlauer Berg from 1973 to 1978 . There she was trained in the subjects violin , piano and singing . From 1983 to 1988 she studied singing with Elisabeth Fritzsche at the Hanns Eisler Music Academy . In addition, she completed further vocal studies a. a. with Sonja Borowski-Tudor and the chamber singers Carola Nossek , Brigitte Eisenfeld and Magda Nádor .

After completing her vocal studies, in 1988 she was engaged as first choir soprano at the Anhaltisches Theater Dessau . From 1995 to 1997 she went to the Lower Saxony State Theater in Hanover as the first choir soprano . In 1998 she returned to the Anhaltisches Theater Dessau, where she can still be seen today as the first choir soprano and in many individual roles.
