Kristoffer Langøien Skjelvik (born September 9, 1991 in Os ) is a Norwegian biathlete .

Kristoffer Skjelvik lives in Lillehammer and starts for Os Il / Ntg l . He attends Lillehammer University . Skjelvik played his first international championships as part of the Junior World Championships 2010 in Torsby , where he was 64th of the individual and 39th of the sprint. A year later came in Nové Město na Moravě places 19 in the individual, 36 in the sprint and 22 in the pursuit, with Erlend Bjøntegaard , Erling Ålvik and Vetle Sjåstad Christiansen he won the bronze medal in the relay race. In 2012 he started in Kontiolahti for the third time at the Junior World Championships and was 37th in the individual, eleventh in the sprint and 27th in the pursuit.

Skjelvik has been starting with the men since 2013 . He contested his first races here in the IBU Cup , where he missed the pursuit race in his first race in Martell as 64th of the sprint. A little later, finishing tenth in a sprint race in Osrblie, he not only reached the points for the first time, but also made it into the top ten for the first time. He was then nominated for the 2013 European Championships in Bansko . In Bulgaria, Skjelvik finished 20th in the individual with a faultless shooting performance, sixth in the sprint and 24th in the pursuit with just one fault in standing.
