Kruishoutem is a district of the Belgian municipality of Kruisem in the Flanders region with 8,086 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2018). Until January 1, 2019, Kruishoutem was an independent municipality and consisted of the main town and the districts Lozer , Nokere and Wannegem-Lede .
Oudenaarde is 7 kilometers (km) southeast, Ghent 20 km northeast, Kortrijk 20 km southwest and Brussels about 60 km east.
Kruishoutem has a motorway exit on the A14 / E17 .
In Waregem , Deinze , Zingem are the next and Oudenaarde regional stations and in Ghent also hold about regional express trains.
There is a regional airport near the French city of Lille and an international airport near the capital Brussels.
