Zingem is a district of the Belgian municipality of Kruisem in the Flanders region with 7,552 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2018). Until January 1, 2019, Zingem was an independent municipality on the left bank of the Scheldt with the main town and the two districts of Huise and Ouwegem .

Oudenaarde is seven kilometers south, Ghent 16 km north and Brussels around 50 km east.

The next motorway exits are in the west at Deinze and Kruishoutem on the A14 / E 17 and in the north at Merelbeke on the A10 / E 40 .

Zingem has a regional train station on the Oudenaarde – Gent railway line; others are u. a. in Gavere , Oudenarde, Zwalm and Deinze. National express trains also stop in Ghent.

In Brussels there is an international airport .
