Kruppach is a Franconian village in the southwestern area of the Hersbrucker Alb .
geography
The village is one of six districts of the Engelthal community in the eastern part of Middle Franconia . It is located two and a half kilometers east-southeast of the center of Engelthal and is at an altitude of 429 m above sea level. NHN .
history
As a result of the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , Kruppach became an independent rural community with the second municipal edict, to which the village of Prosberg , about half a kilometer south, also belonged. In the course of the municipal territorial reform in Bavaria carried out in the 1970s , the municipality of Kruppach was incorporated into the municipality of Engelthal on May 1, 1978. In 1993 the village of Kruppach had 86 inhabitants.
