Kruschynka (Ukrainian Крушинка ; Russian Kruschinka ) is a Ukrainian village in the Kiev Oblast not far from the Rajons capital Vasylkiv . According to the last census, it has 347 inhabitants.
According to legend, the name of the village comes from the plant buckthorn (Ukrainian Крушина / Kruschyna). The village was first mentioned in 1851. During the German occupation, numerous residents were deported to the German Reich for forced labor . A church built in the 19th century was destroyed in Soviet times and rebuilt in the 1990s. Due to its proximity to the capital, the place is popular as a dacha settlement with the Kievans.
To district municipality next to the main town Krushynka are still villages Boryssiw (Борисів) Derewjanky (Дерев'янки) Salisne (Залізне), Mala Buhajiwka (Мала Бугаївка) and the settlement Selenyj Bir (Зелений Бір).
