Kunstverein Langenfeld

The Kunstverein Langenfeld was founded in 1983. It has the legal form of a registered association and is dedicated to the promotion of contemporary art .

history

The art association was founded in 1983 as the Langenfeld artists' association by Norbert Schindler and Beate Domdey-Fehlau. In 2006 the association was renamed the Kunstverein. Since 2000, the art association has been running the “art space” with five to seven exhibitions per year. The special focus is on promoting artists from the region, international artist friendships and collaboration with the Düsseldorf Art Academy . The art association has around 200 members. He offers lectures, joint studio visits, excursions and workshops. The art association is a member of the Working Group of German Art Associations (ADKV). Felix Fehlau has been chairman since 1994. The artistic direction is in the hands of Beate Domdey-Fehlau.
