Jimmi D. Paesler

Jimmi D. Paesler (* 1942 in Klosterheide , Brandenburg ) is a German painter who is best known for his wall paintings and the artistic design of exterior and interior spaces.

Live and act

Jimmi D. Paesler completed an apprenticeship as a sign and advertising painter in Zeven and Bremen from 1958 . From 1962 he studied painting at the University of the Arts in Bremen , where he was a student of Johannes Schreiter , Karl Fred Dahmen , Winfred Gaul and Karl Heinrich Greune , among others . Then he worked as a freelance painter. From 1973 to 1983 he realized several murals on commission and had lectureships at the University of Bremen, among others . From 1983 he resumed his studio work. From 2001 to 2003 he did cultural work in the Oslebshausen prison .

Jimmi D. Paesler lives and works in Bremen.
