The Kupfersiefer Bach is a nearly five kilometer long orographically left tributary of the Sülz in the North Rhine-Westphalian Rheinisch-Bergische Kreis .

The Kupfersiefer Bach rises at an altitude of 162  m north of Wickuhl, directly north of the border with the Rhein-Sieg district .

It first flows south past Groß- and Kleinbliersbach , then passes Kupfersiefer Mühle , runs southwest along Menzlingen and finally flows at 111  m in the southern part of Rösrath -Zentrum (Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis) on the left into Sülz, which is approaching from the north.

Catchment area

The approximately 2.9 km² catchment area of ​​the Kupfersiefer Bach is drained into the North Sea via Sülz, Agger , Sieg and Rhine .

Previous use, leisure and recreation

In 1783, Elector Karl Theodor granted the concession to operate a grinding mill on the Kupfersiefer Bach.

As part of a tour description, the Kölner Stadtanzeiger described the course as a "wonderful brook valley" with forest paths and a mill.
