Kurt Höck

Kurt Höck (* 1920 in Körlin an der Persante , Kolberg-Körlin district ; † 2008 in Klein Köris ) was a German doctor and clinic director.

Life

Höck came from Körlin an der Persante in Western Pomerania , studied medicine at the University of Greifswald and completed his internal training at the Charité under Koch, Katsch and Brugsch . After further training in psychoanalysis, he took over the management of the psychotherapy department and later the overall management of the Haus der Gesundheit Berlin. In 1964 he founded the Berlin-Hirschgarten Neurosis Clinic , which became the model for inpatient psychotherapy departments in the GDR .

Kurt Höck was the founder of Intended Dynamic Group Psychotherapy and led the training of more than 200 doctors and psychologists in this procedure. In 1995 the German Medical Association awarded him the Ernst von Bergmann plaque for his services to further training in psychotherapy .
