Kurt Lundquist

Kurt Lundquist ( Kurt Anders Valdemar Lundquist ; born November 27, 1925 in Kila, Sala municipality ; † July 12, 2011 in Simrishamn ) was a Swedish sprinter .

Career

In 1947 he became national champion in the 200-meter run .

At the Olympic Games in London in 1948 , he reached the quarter-finals over 400 m . In the 4 x 400 meter relay , he won the bronze medal behind the relay from the USA and France with the Swedish team in the line-up of Lundquist, Lars-Erik Wolfbrandt , Folke Alnevik and Rune Larsson .
