Folke Alnevik

Folke Alnevik ( Arvid Folke Alnevik ; born December 31, 1919 in Arbrå , Bollnäs municipality ; † August 17, 2020 in Gävle ) was a Swedish sprinter .

At the European Athletics Championships in Oslo in 1946 , he won the bronze medal in the 4 x 400 meter relay together with the Swedish team in the line-up of Alnevik, Stig Lindgård , Sven-Erik Nolinge and Tore Sten .

In 1948 he reached the quarter-finals at the Olympic Games in London over 400 m . In the 4 x 400 meter relay , he won the bronze medal behind the relay from the USA and France with the Swedish team consisting of Kurt Lundquist , Lars-Erik Wolfbrandt , Alnevik and Rune Larsson .
