Kurt Robitschek
Kurt Robitschek , also Curt Robitschek , pseudonym Ken Robey (born August 23, 1890 in Prague , Austria-Hungary , † December 16, 1950 in New York , USA ) was an Austrian theater director.
Life
He was a popular announcer in Berlin in the twenties , co-founded the comedians' cabaret and wrote book and record reviews. In 1933 he emigrated to the USA via Prague, Vienna , Paris and London , where he arranged major tours under the name of Ken Robey. His wife Ilse Bois was a well-known cabaret artist and actress.
