Kurt Runge (politician)

Kurt Runge (born July 4, 1928 in Groß Lübbichow, Weststernberg district , † July 13, 2007 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Kurt Runge attended a middle school and, after the Second World War , started training as a teacher in 1947 . After the 1st state examination in 1950, he studied at the University of Education in Berlin and passed the 2nd state examination in 1959. He became a teacher at the Paul Eipper primary school in Berlin-Wilmersdorf and joined the CDU in 1967. In the Berlin election in 1975 , Runge was elected to the District Assembly (BVV) in the Spandau district. In the following election in 1979 he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives. In November 1982 he resigned from parliament because BVV Spandau had elected him to the district councilor for health care. In 1989 Runge left office.
