Kurt Sieber

Kurt Sieber (born June 20, 1936 in Eger , Czechoslovakia ) is a German politician ( FDP ).

Life

Sieber attended high school in Kempten , Munich-Pasing , Augsburg and Haßfurt . After graduating from high school in Haßfurt in 1956, he studied French and English for teaching at the University of Würzburg . In 1962 he passed the state examination.

Sieber is Protestant, married and has two children.

Political activity

Kurt Sieber has been a district councilor in the Haßberge district since 1972 . He is chairman of the FDP / Free Citizens District Assembly. Sieber played a key role in creating the partnership between the Haßberge district and the Tricastin district in France.

In the state election in 1978 he was the top candidate of the Lower Franconian FDP . He was a member of the state parliament until 1982, when the party failed at the five percent hurdle.

Kurt Sieber was Mayor of Königsberg in Bavaria from 1990 to 2002 .
