Kurt Steinhaus

Kurt Steinhaus (born January 21, 1938 in Stettin ; † April 6, 1991 in Heidelberg ) was a German sociologist, political scientist and DKP functionary.

Steinhaus studied with Wolfgang Abendroth at the Philipps University in Marburg , where he also received his doctorate. He was on the board of the SDS , worked for the Institute for Marxist Studies and Research (IMSF) in Frankfurt am Main and became a full-time employee of the German Communist Party (DKP).

Kurt Steinhaus' estate is looked after by the International Institute for Social History in Amsterdam .
