Kurt Wolfflin
Kurt Wölfflin (actually Kurt Wölflingseder; born February 20, 1934 in Vienna , † September 12, 1998 in Salzburg ) was an Austrian writer .
life and work
Kurt Wölfflin was born in Vienna in 1934, grew up in the Netherlands and Austria and graduated from high school in Salzburg. The secondary school teacher was a member of the Catholic men's movement and the PEN Club Austria. He wrote poems, short stories, plays and novels - as well as many books for children and young people. After the move from Thalgau-Egg ( Land Salzburg ) to Anthering near Salzburg / City in the late 1960s, the first children's books appeared. First in collaboration with his wife Maria, later with the entire family of eight.

The collection of Korean fairy tales “The Pearl of the Dragon King” ( Styria-Verlag , 1973) was created with the collaboration of the Korean missionary Rudi Kranewitter (Soh Ki Ho).
