Kusursuz 19 (tr. For: "Excellent 19" ) is the fourth studio album by the Turkish singer Demet Akalın . It was released on June 14, 2006 under the label Seyhan Müzik. The album mainly contains elements of pop and dance. In addition to Bülent Seyhan, Ersay Üner was again involved in the production.
The album was a great success in Turkey and reached top positions in the Turkish album charts. Kusursuz 19 brought Akalın the big commercial breakthrough in her career; With approx. 147,000 units sold, it is one of the best-selling music albums in 2006 in Turkey. The album was also awarded a gold record.
Five of the total of nineteen songs were released as singles. The first single Afedersin was released on June 19, 2006 and reached Latz 1 in the Turkish top 20 charts and number 69 in the European charts. The song Herkes Hak Ettiği Gibi Yaşıyor was released on August 10, 2006 and reached number 86 in the European airplay charts.
Singles
- Afedersin
The lead single Afedersin (tr. For: "Forgiveness" ) was released on June 19, 2006 in Turkey. The song reached first place in the Turkish Top 20 charts and 69th place in the Euro Airplay charts for five weeks. After the release, Afedersin became a great success, especially in Turkey, and received numerous awards.
The music video was released on June 19, 2006. Directed by the Turkish director Lara Sayılgan.
- Herkes Hak Ettiği Gibi Yaşıyor
Herkes Hak Ettiği Gibi Yaşıyor (tr. For: "Everyone lives as he deserves" ) was released on August 10, 2006 and reached number 86 in the Euro airplay charts. It was written and produced by Ersay Üner; the music video was directed by Tamer Aydoğdu and released on the same day.
A second version of the song also appeared on the album.
- Mantık Evliliği
With Mantık Evliliği (tr. For "Meaningful marriage" ) the third single from the album was released. The song and music video were released on November 8, 2006. The producer and songwriter Soner Sarıkabadayı wrote the lyrics and composed the music.
- Alçak
The song Alaçak (tr. For: "low" ) was released on February 17, 2007. It is the fourth single from the album and was produced by Bülent Seyhan. Erhan Bayrak wrote the lyrics.
- Seven Kızın Romanı
Seven Kızın Romanı (tr. For: "The story of a loving girl" ) is the fifth and final single. The song was released on April 11, 2007 and has a length of four minutes and 56 seconds. The song was produced by Bülent Seyhan; the producer Emirkan composed the music.
