Kwak Do-won (born May 17, 1974 in Seoul , real name: Kwak Byeong-gyu ) is a South Korean actor . He began his career in the theater , but later increasingly appeared in film and television. He is best known for his supporting roles in The Yellow Sea (2010), Nameless Gangster (2012) and The Attorney (2013).

Life

In 2012 he played the role of a rather useless but aggressive boss in a contract murder company in the action film A Company Man . 2016 he plays a starring role in Na Hong-jin's Mystery- Thriller The Wailing at the side of Hwang Jung-min and Chun Woo-hee . This was followed by a role in the gangster film Asura - The City of Madness and a role as a South Korean secret service agent in Steel Rain . In 2020 he played a former secret service agent in the film Das Assentat - The Man Standing Next , who tries to uncover the machinations of the South Korean president in order to get protection by the USA.
