Kwon Alexander (* 3. August 1994 in Oxford , Alabama ) is an American American football poker players in the National Football League (NFL). He plays for the San Francisco 49ers as a linebacker .

college

Alexander, who also made a name for himself as a track and field athlete during high school , attended Louisiana State University (LSU) and played for their team, the Tigers, as a linebacker in 2012 and 2014. In 32 games he was able to set 167 tackles and achieve 1.5 sacks .

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

In the 2015 NFL Draft , he was selected in the fourth round as the 124th player by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers . The Bucs swapped their fourth and seventh round picks for the Oakland Raiders ' fourth round picks in order to move forward and select him. He was awarded a $ 2.75 million four-year contract .

Alexander was able to establish himself immediately and was a starter in twelve games in his rookie season . He has been banned from the league for a doping violation in the last four games .
