Kwoun Sun-tae ( kor. 박정수 ; born September 11, 1984 in Gangneung ) is a South Korean football player .

Career

Kwoun Sun-tae learned to play football in the college team of Jeonju University . The goalkeeper signed his first professional contract in 2006 with Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors . The Jeonju club played in the country's highest league, the K League 1 . From 2011 to 2012 he was loaned to Sangju Sangmu FC in Sangju . Sangju Sangmu FC is an athletic division of the South Korean military. Therefore, the franchise roster consists of young professional football players who are currently doing their military service. Approximately 15 new players join the franchise each year and stay there for two years before going back to their previous franchises. Due to the franchise's military status, it is not allowed to sign foreign players. During his time at Jeonbuk, he was three times South Korean champion and twice won the AFC Champions League . After 231 top division appearances, he moved to Japan in 2017 . Here he signed a contract with the Kashima Antlers . The club from Kashima played in the first division, the J1 League . In 2018 he won the Champions League with Kashima. He won the Japanese Super Cup in 2017.
