Kyle Derrick Williams (* 10. June 1983 in Ruston , Louisiana ), not to be confused with the same wide receiver , is a former American American football poker players on the position of the defensive tackles . He played for the Buffalo Bills in the National Football League (NFL).

In the 2006 NFL Draft , he was selected in the 5th round as the 134th player of the Buffalo Bills . He was able to establish himself immediately and played in all 16 games in his rookie season, eleven of them even as a starter . In the following seasons he became an integral part of the defense of the Bills, where he was preferred as a nose tackle from 2009 to 2012 . In 2011 he signed a six-year contract worth 39 million US dollars , and since the same year he has also been a team captain of the defense. In 2011 he was only able to play 5 games due to an ankle injury and only 6 games in 2015 due to a knee injury. Williams has been called up to the Pro Bowl six times .

On December 28, 2018, he announced that he would end his career after the 2018 season.
