Kylie Furneaux

Kylie Furneaux (born October 29, 1973 in Adelaide , South Australia ) is an Australian stuntwoman and actress .

biography

Furneaux began working as a stuntwoman in 2000 when she first took on a role in the television series Andromeda . After further participation in a number of television films and series, she got a role in the film Catwoman with Halle Berry as the leading actress, which was released in 2004. In the following year she took over stunt scenes for the comic film version Elektra , in the same year she also worked for Fantastic Four . She also made her debut as an actress in 2005 by appearing on Masters of Horror . For the movie X-Men: The Last Stand , Furneaux played some stunts. She also appeared in the film The Passage , which premiered at the 2007 Toronto Film Festival . The screenplay for the film was written by her husband, the actor in screenwriter Neil Jackson . In the following year she performed scenes in the film Hancock with Will Smith in the lead role and played a stunt double. In the film Push , in which her husband also starred, Furneaux was hired as a stunt double for Camilla Belle .

Two films are to be released in the future, on the one hand Tron: Legacy , which will be released in 2010, for which Furneaux will be active again as a stuntwoman. In Thor , she is supposed to double Jaimie Alexander in stunt scenes.
