Neil Jackson (born March 5, 1976 in Luton , England ) is a British actor and screenwriter .

Life

Jackson worked as an amateur boxer and later as a private trainer.

Jackson gained his first acting experience in the West End theater district . Jude Kelly , who became aware of Jackson, hired him for a role in the musical Queer As Folk: The Musical . He then took part in three theater performances directed by Michael Armstrong . Jackson began his acting career in front of the camera by appearing in a number of English-language series from 2002. He first starred in an episode on the television series Heartbeat . Jackson took on the lead role for the English series Dreamteam , he played in the series from 2002 to 2003. In 2004 he got his first role in a movie, Alexander , which is also known internationally. Thereupon he was active again in numerous series, also in well-known ones, such as Stargate - Kommando SG-1 or CSI: Miami . Jackson first wrote a screenplay in 2006 for The Passage , which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival the following year . In 2008 Jackson starred in the James Bond film Quantum of Solace . He wrote the script for the film Star Crossed . The film is a modernized new version of the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare . Since 2009 he has played the role of Sasha Belov in the youth series Make It or Break It .

Jackson currently lives in Los Angeles ; he is married to Kylie Furneaux .
