The Lørenskog Ishockeyklubb is established in 1963 Norwegian ice hockey club from Lørenskog . The team played in the GET-ligaen from 2008 to 2018 and played their home games in Lørenskog Ishall .
history
The club was founded in 1963. In the following years, the team played regularly in the second division 1. divisjon and the GET-ligaen , the highest Norwegian league. In the 2007/08 season, the team last rose from the 1st division to the GET league, in which he has played continuously ever since. The greatest success for the team was reaching the playoff semi-finals in the 2010/11 season and moving into the 2015/16 season final , where they lost 4-2 to the Stavanger Oilers . After the 2017/18 season, the club withdrew from the GET league into the third-class 2nd division due to economic problems.
Since 2019 the club has been playing in the 1st division again.
