Austria and Norway
From the 2006/07 season onwards , Tommy Jakobsen played for the Graz 99ers in the Austrian Bundesliga . Even before the season he was appointed team captain under the then coach Mike Bullard and remained so under his successors. After the 99ers missed qualification for the playoffs in the 2007/08 season , Jakobsen moved to SC Bern in Switzerland on January 31, 2008 for the rest of the season , where he got the last foreign license. In March Jakobsen signed again with the 99ers. For the 2009/10 season Jakobsen returned to his homeland in Norway and signed a contract with Lørenskog IK , for which he has played in the GET-league ever since.
