Lüninghausen is a district of the community Lilienthal in the district of Osterholz in Lower Saxony .

The place is four kilometers south of the center of Worpswede , seven kilometers northeast of Lilienthal and eight kilometers southeast of Osterholz-Scharmbeck .

history

Lüninghausen was founded in 1764 as part of the moor colonization . In 1789 18 houses are given, in which 80 inhabitants, including 56 children.
