Lütenthien is a district of the Schnega municipality in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony .
The village is located northwest of the core area of Schnega and south of the B 71 . To the south and east of the village, along the Schnegaer mill trench , the 480 extends ha large nature reserve Schnegaer Mühlenbachtal .

On July 1, 1972, Lütenthien was incorporated into the Schnega community.
