Thune is a district of the Schnega municipality in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony .

The village is located southeast of the core area of ​​Schnega on the southern border with Saxony-Anhalt . In this area is the Wustrower Dumme , a left tributary of the Jeetzel , border river. West, south and northeast of the Thune extends 650 ha large nature reserve Upper Stupid lowlands .
