The LG G7 ThinQ (code name internat. Model: LMG710 ) is a smartphone of the G series from LG and the successor to the LG G6 . The LG G7 Thinq was unveiled to the public on May 2, 2018 in New York. In February 2019, the successor model was presented with the LG G8 ThinQ .
Furnishing
The LG G7 ThinQ measures 153.2 mm × 71.9 mm × 7.9 mm and weighs 162 grams. The QHD + display with a diagonal of 15.5 cm has a resolution of 3120 × 1440 pixels with a pixel density of around 563 ppi . The battery has a capacity of 3000 mAh and cannot be replaced. The System-on-a-Chip is a Snapdragon 845 clocked at 2.8 GHz with eight cores from Qualcomm , consisting of eight Kryo 385 CPU processors (4 × 2.8 GHz Kryo 385 Gold & 4 × 1.7 GHz Kryo 385 Silver) with 64-bit support and an Adreno 630 graphics unit, 64 GB of flash memory and 4 GB of RAM . The memory can also be expanded by up to 2 TB with a microSDXC card. It also has NFC , a 16- megapixel dual rear camera with a standard angle camera f1.6 aperture, wide-angle camera f1.9 aperture, photo light and an 8-megapixel front camera. The LG G7 ThinQ also has a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad-DAC and boombox speakers. The G7 ThinQ will be available at launch in the colors "New Aurora Black" and "New Platinum Gray". When it was launched, LG used Android 8.0 as the operating system . Further technical properties: DTS: X 3D Surround Sound, shockproof according to MIL-STD-810G & waterproof and dustproof according to IP68, wireless battery charging and Quick Charge 3.0.
Availability
The LG G7 ThinQ was launched on the German market in early June 2018. The RRP for the device was 849 euros.
variants
As with the previous LG G4 and LG G6 models, there are also mid-range variants of the G7 ThinQ. If it was the G4c and G4s in the LG G4, and the Q6 in the LG G6, this time the Q7, the Q7 + and the G7 are fit. What is new is that there is also an Android One variant: the G7 One. However, it is not available in Germany.
