LRT Radijas is a Lithuanian LRT - radio stations . It is one of the most popular broadcasters in Lithuania . In addition to music (mainly from the field of pop music ), the program consists of news and information on various topics such as culture, religion and sport.
As the first major radio station in Lithuania, LRT Radijas was founded on June 12, 1926 in Kaunas . On September 28, 2003, the station was given its current name. In 2009 the medium wave broadcast was discontinued.
