La Brévière ( ) is a former French community with 119 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy .
On January 1, 2016, La Brévière was incorporated into the new municipality of Val-de-Vie as part of a regional reform together with three neighboring municipalities .
geography
La Brévière is located in the Pays d'Auge . Lisieux is located around 21 kilometers north-northeast of the village . Falaise , west-southwest, is a good 32 kilometers away. The Vie borders the La Brévières area to the west.
