Val-de-Vie is a French municipality with 540 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement Lisieux and the Canton of Livarot .

The municipality was created in the course of a regional reform on January 1, 2016 through the merger of four former municipalities, which are now districts of Val-de-Vie. Sainte-Foy-de-Montgommery acts as the “superordinate district” as the administrative center.
