It borders in the north on Le Breuil-en-Auge , in the northeast of Saint-Philbert-des-Champs , in the southeast on Fauguernon , to the south Rocques , in the southwest of Ouilly-le-Vicomte and the west by Coquainvilliers .

The city's most famous son is the natural scientist Louis de La Foye .
