Équemauville is a French commune with 1,444 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . Équemauville belongs to the Arrondissement Lisieux and the Canton Honfleur-Deauville (until 2015: Canton Honfleur ). The inhabitants are called Équemauvillais .

Équemauville is about ten kilometers southeast of Le Havre . Équemauville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Honfleur in the north and north-east, Gonneville-sur-Honfleur in the east, Saint-Gatien-des-Bois in the south, Barneville-la-Bertran in the west and Pennedepie in the west.
