Le Pin is a French municipality with 812 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) of the department of Calvados in the region Normandy (before 2016 Basse-Normandie ). Administratively it is assigned to the canton of Pont-l'Évêque (until 2015 Lisieux-1 ) and the Arrondissement of Lisieux . The inhabitants are called Pinois .

Le Pin is located about 52 kilometers east-northeast of Caen and about 36 kilometers south-southwest of Le Havre in the Pays d'Auge landscape . Le Pin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Faulq in the north, Saint-Pierre-de-Cormeilles in the east and northeast, Asnières in the east and southeast, Moyaux in the south, Saint-Philbert-des-Champs in the west and Le Brévedent in the northwest.
