Saint-Gatien-des-Bois is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cricquebœuf , Pennedepie , Barneville-la-Bertran and Équemauville in the north, Gonneville-sur-Honfleur , Fourneville and Le Theil-en-Auge in the east, and Saint-Benoît-d'Hébertot and Vieux-Bourg in the southeast, Surville , Tourville-en-Auge and Saint-Martin-aux-Chartrains in the south, Canapville and Englesqueville-en-Auge in the southwest and Bonneville-sur-Touques , Touques and Trouville-sur-Mer in the west .
The Deauville-Saint-Gatien airfield is located in the municipality .
