Danestal is a French municipality with 385 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement Lisieux and the Canton of Cabourg . The inhabitants are known as Petivillais .
geography
Danestal is about 42 kilometers east-northeast of the city center of Caen . Danestal is surrounded by Branville in the north, Annebault in the east and northeast, Bonnebosq in the southeast, Beaufour-Druval in the south and southeast, Cresseveuille in the south and southwest and Heuland in the west and northwest.
