Ablon is a French commune with 1,204 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . Ablon belongs to the Arrondissement Lisieux and the Canton Honfleur-Deauville (until 2015: Canton Honfleur ). The inhabitants are called ablonnais .
geography
Ablon is the northernmost municipality in the Calvados department. It is located about 17 kilometers south-southeast of Le Havre on the Morelle , which forms the eastern municipal boundary, and on the estuary of the Seine . Ablon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Fiquefleur-Équainville in the east, Manneville-la-Raoult in the south-east, Genneville in the south, Gonneville-sur-Honfleur in the west and south-west and La Rivière-Saint-Sauveur in the west and north-west.
