The Communauté de communes du Pays de Honfleur Beuzeville is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the departments of Calvados and Eure the region Normandy . It was founded on September 23, 2016 and comprises 23 municipalities (as of January 1, 2019). The administrative headquarters are in Honfleur . A special feature is the cross-departmental structure of the member communities.

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

  • Communauté de communes du Pays de Honfleur and
  • Communauté de communes du Canton de Beuzeville .

With effect from January 1, 2018, two municipalities left the local association: Saint-Gatien-des-Bois joined the Communauté de communes Cœur Côte Fleurie , Vannecrocq switched to the Communauté de communes Lieuvin Pays d'Auge .

With effect from January 1, 2019, the municipalities of Fort-Moville , La Lande-Saint-Léger , Le Torpt and Martainville left the municipal association and switched to the Communauté de communes Lieuvin Pays d'Auge . This reduced the total number of member communities to 23.
