The Communauté de communes de la Vire Intercom au Noireau is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It was founded on November 18, 2016 and comprises 17 parishes. The administrative center is in the municipality of Vire Normandie .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

and access to the Communes nouvelles

and initially comprised 18 communities.

On January 1, 2018, Pont-Farcy was incorporated into the Commune nouvelle Tessy-Bocage and has since been part of the Saint-Lô Agglo commune in the Manche department .
