Pont-Farcy ( ) is a village and a commune déléguée in the French commune of Tessy-Bocage with 532 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Manche department (until December 31, 2017: Calvados department ) in the region Normandy . The village has belonged to the arrondissement Saint-Lô and the canton Condé-sur-Vire since 2018 (until the end of 2017: arrondissement Vire and canton Vire ). The inhabitants are known as Farcy-Pontains .
Pont-Farcy was incorporated into Tessy-Bocage on January 1, 2018 . Up until then, Pont-Farcy was part of the Calvados department .
geography
Pont-Farcy is around 58 km west-southwest of Caen , right on the border with the Calvados department . The Vire flows centrally through Pont-Farcy. The A84 autoroute crosses the town.
