Beaumesnil is a French municipality with 203 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Vire and the Canton of Vire . The inhabitants are known as Beaumesniliens .
geography
Beaumesnil is about 60 km southwest of Caen . The municipality is surrounded by Landelles-et-Coupigny in the entire west and north, Souleuvre en Bocage in the northeast, Campagnolles in the east and southeast and Le Mesnil-Robert in the south.
