Courvaudon is about 24 km southwest of Caen . The municipality is surrounded by Saint-Agnan-le-Malherbe in the north, Montigny in the northeast, La Caine in the east, Curcy-sur-Orne in the southeast, Bonnemaison in the south and southwest, Bauquay in the west and Le Mesnil-au-Grain in the northwest Direction.
