Monts-en-Bessin is about 19.5 km west-southwest of Caen . The municipality is surrounded by Vendes in the north, Val d'Arry with Noyers-Missy in the northeast, east and southeast, Parfouru-sur-Odon in the south, Villy-Bocage in the southwest and west and Saint-Vaast-sur-Seulles in the northwest .
