Montigny is a French municipality with 96 inhabitants (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the arrondissement of Caen and the canton of Évrecy . The inhabitants are known as Montanusiens .

Montigny is located around 20 km southwest of Caen . The municipality is surrounded by Maisoncelles-sur-Ajon in the north-west and north, Préaux-Bocage in the north-east, La Caine in the east and south-east, Le Hom in the south and Courvaudon in the south-west and west.
