Bons-Tassilly is about 7.5 km north of Falaise . The municipality is surrounded by Potigny and Soumont-Saint-Quentin in the north, Olendon in the northeast, Épaney in the east and southeast, Soulangy in the south, Villers-Canivet in the southwest, Ussy in the west and Fontaine-le-Pin in the northwest.
