Combray is about 20 km northwest of Falaise and 28 km south-southwest of Caen . The municipality is surrounded by Esson in the north-west and north, Donnay in the north-east, east and south-east, Saint-Omer in the south and south-west and Caumont-sur-Orne in the west.
