The canton of Thury-Harcourt is a French constituency in the Calvados department in the region of Normandy . It comprises 42 parishes in the Arrondissement of Caen and has its bureau centralisateur in Thury-Harcourt . As part of the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons, it was significantly expanded in spring 2015.

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Thury-Harcourt included the 26 municipalities of Acqueville , Angoville , Caumont-sur-Orne , Cauville , Cesny-Bois-Halbout , Clécy , Combray , Cossesseville , Croisilles , Culey-le-Patry , Donnay , Espins , Esson , La Pommeraye , La Villette , Le Bô , Le Vey , Martainville , Meslay , Placy , Saint-Denis-de-Méré , Saint-Lambert , Saint-Omer , Saint-Rémy , Thury-Harcourt and Tournebu . Its layout corresponded to an area of ​​187.93 km ² . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 1431.
