Tournebu is a village and a former French commune of 356 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy . It belonged to the arrondissement of Caen and the canton of Thury-Harcourt .
With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Cesny-Bois-Halbout , Acqueville , Angoville , Placy and Tournebu were merged to form the Commune nouvelle Cesny-les-Sources and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Cesny-Bois-Halbout.

Tournebu is located 23 kilometers south of Caen in the hill country of Norman Switzerland . Tournebu is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Moulines in the north, Fontaine-le-Pin in the east and north-east, Ussy in the east and south-east, Saint-Germain-Langot in the south, Martainville in the west and south-west and Acqueville in the west and north-west.
